The Cognitive and Affective Neuropsychology Laboratory is dedicated to investigating the neural mechanisms underlying cognition and affect.  Through the combined use of performance measures and neuroimaging, our goal is to develop new models of how the brain gives rise to mental life across the lifespan.  Our projects focus on attention, working memory (cognitive and affective), and executive processes, with special emphasis on discovering how these abilities change due to aging.
