The goal of the Eban-Rothschild lab is to uncover the neuronal underpinningsĀ of sleep and wakefulness, in both healthy and pathological conditions. To accomplish this, we combine innovative techniques to record and manipulate neuronal circuits in rodents, including in-vivo calcium imaging, fiber-photometry, optogenetics and chemogeneticsĀ  with EEG/EMG recordings and ethologically-relevant behavioral manipulations.
