Our lab works on deciphering brain circuits and brain rhythms. Our goal is to understand and manipulate the neural circuits involved in normal behaviors (spatial navigation & sensory perception) and pathological brain states (epilepsy, traumatic-brain-injury & mental health disorders such as depression). We use this careful understanding of circuits to build novel translational therapeutics.
