Yu Wang

Assistant Professor of Neurology, Medical School

Dr. Wang’s current research interests focus on epilepsy genetics and brain development with the goals that these studies will transform our understanding in the mechanism of epilepsy and pave ways to therapeutic development.  He is using genome editing methods and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to dissect the abnormal network in epileptic brains and to develop effective therapies.
