Current project: Understanding pathogenesis and developing new treatments for epilepsy caused by mutations of voltage-gated sodium channel genes.

Teaching experience: I was a Graduate Student Instructor for an upper-level undergraduate biochemistry course, Chem 452.

Service and Leadership: I am currently the Graduate President of F.E.M.M.E.S. and the Volunteer Team Leader for BrainsRule!

Career goals: I hope to run my own lab studying the molecular causes of neurodevelopmental disorders in order to develop new treatments.
