Congratulations to Geoffrey Murphy!
Geoff Murphy was officially appointed the David F. Bohr Collegiate Professor in Physiology.
The David F. Bohr Collegiate Professorship in Physiology was established in March 2015 through donations from faculty, former trainees, and gifts to the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology. It is intended to honor the professional academic career of Dr. David Bohr, and to support the research efforts of a faculty member within the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology. Geoff was appointed as the Bohr Collegiate Professor in recognition of his research accomplishments in the area of aging and Alzheimer's disease, his many contributions in collaborative research through electrophysiological and behavioral testing in rodent models, and his teaching, mentorship, and service. Congratulations Geoff!
